Hidden Case Files was launched in 2011. Its main objective is to help publicize cases of wrongful convictions, and the reasoning behind their occurrences. The site provides exclusive coverage of each case it selects, and continues such coverage until justice has been rendered. The cases selected by this site do not require DNA evidence as a requisite. An inmate's innocence can be shown by other objective evidence, and by a presentation of prosecutorial misconduct, such as the withholding of exculpatory evidence.
